The company seal problem (and why this page exists)
A new company needs a seal. Banks want it on the account-opening forms. Government offices want it on official paperwork. Clients want it on invoices and contracts. Yet the moment you go looking for a "company stamp maker online", you find one of three things:
- A single-page micro-site that only knows one country's company-seal conventions.
- A paid design tool that wants £20 for what's essentially a round shape with curved text.
- A rubber-stamp shop that wants a £40 order before you've even decided on the design.
None of them go deep on the part that actually matters: which fields go where. A US LLC seal looks different from a UK Limited seal, which looks different from a UAE Free Zone seal, which looks different from a Singapore Pte Ltd seal. The conventions matter — banks and government departments notice when the layout is off.
This page covers all of them. Pick the template that matches your jurisdiction, type your details into the right fields, download a clean transparent PNG. Total time, about two minutes.

UK-style company seals
"LIMITED" or "PLC" in the centre, company name on the top arc, company registration number on the bottom arc. Single-ring or double-ring border variants.
US-style company seals
"LLC", "INC", or "CORP" in the centre, company name on the top arc, state of incorporation or registration date on the bottom arc.
UAE & GCC company seals
"FZE", "FZ-LLC", "FZ-CO", or "LLC" in the centre, company name on the top arc (often bilingual English + Arabic), trade licence number and emirate/city on the bottom arc. Bilingual layouts are standard.
India company seals
"PVT LTD", "LTD", or "LLP" in the centre, company name on the top arc, CIN (Corporate Identification Number) on the bottom arc. Often double-ring for formal use.
Singapore & Malaysia company seals
"PTE LTD" (Singapore) or "SDN BHD" (Malaysia) in the centre, company name on the top arc, UEN (Singapore) or registration number (Malaysia) on the bottom arc.
Generic / international company seals
For jurisdictions not covered above, or for businesses that want a layout-flexible template. Edit any field to match local conventions.
Bilingual seals (English + Arabic, English + Chinese, etc.)
Templates with two arcs prepared for different scripts — English on one, Arabic or another language on the other. Useful in the GCC, MENA, and other multilingual markets.
Company seal anatomy — what goes where
Every company seal follows the same structural rules. Understanding the anatomy means you can customise any template confidently.
Top arc — your company's legal name
Reads left-to-right along the upper curve of the round seal. Use the legal name as registered with your company-formation authority, not your trading name or brand name. If the legal name is long, use all-caps and reduce letter spacing to fit. Standard for every jurisdiction.
Bottom arc — your registration identifier
Reads left-to-right along the lower curve. The exact identifier depends on your jurisdiction:
- UK: Company registration number (8 digits, sometimes prefixed with "Company No." or "CRN")
- US: State of incorporation, sometimes followed by registration year
- UAE: Trade licence number, often with the issuing emirate ("DUBAI", "AJMAN", etc.)
- India: CIN (21-character Corporate Identification Number)
- Singapore: UEN (Unique Entity Number)
- Malaysia: SSM registration number
- EU jurisdictions: Local registry number with country-specific prefix
For bilingual UAE seals, the bottom arc often carries the trade licence number in English and the city name in Arabic, or vice versa.
Centre — entity type
The legal abbreviation for your entity type, in capital letters, in the middle of the seal. Common formats:
- LLC / L.L.C. (Limited Liability Company — US, UAE)
- INC / Inc. (Incorporated — US, Canada)
- CORP (Corporation — US)
- LTD / LIMITED (Limited — UK, India, Singapore)
- PLC (Public Limited Company — UK)
- PVT LTD / P. LTD (Private Limited — India)
- LLP (Limited Liability Partnership — UK, India, US, Singapore)
- FZE / FZ-LLC / FZ-CO (Free Zone Establishment / Company — UAE)
- PTE LTD (Private Limited — Singapore)
- SDN BHD (Sendirian Berhad — Malaysia)
- GmbH (Germany)
- SARL / SAS (France)
- S.A. (Spain, Switzerland, others)
If your jurisdiction's entity type isn't on this list, use the abbreviation as registered locally. The editor accepts any text.
Ring border — the formality signal
- Single-ring borders read modern and clean. Common for newer companies and brand-led businesses.
- Double-ring borders (two concentric circles with the text in between) read more formal and traditional. Common for legacy businesses, professional services, and any seal used on formal contracts or government paperwork.
You can switch between ring styles in the editor on any template.
Regional conventions — what banks and registries expect
The single biggest reason a company seal "looks wrong" is using the wrong convention for the jurisdiction. Below is the standard layout for the most-requested regions. Use this as a reference when customising any template.
United Kingdom
- Top arc: company name (e.g., ACME TRADING LIMITED)
- Centre: LIMITED or LTD
- Bottom arc: COMPANY NO. 12345678
- Border: usually double-ring for formal/registered companies
United States
- Top arc: company name (e.g., ACME TRADING LLC)
- Centre: LLC, INC, or CORP
- Bottom arc: state name (e.g., DELAWARE) and/or registration year
- Border: single-ring is more common; double-ring used for older/established firms
UAE (Mainland / Onshore)
- Top arc: company name in English (e.g., ACME TRADING LLC)
- Centre: L.L.C.
- Bottom arc: trade licence number and emirate (e.g., TRADE LICENCE 12345 — DUBAI)
- Often bilingual with Arabic version of the name on the other arc
UAE (Free Zones)
- Top arc: company name (e.g., ACME TRADING FZE)
- Centre: FZE or FZ-LLC or FZ-CO
- Bottom arc: trade licence number and free zone name (e.g., JAFZA, DMCC, AJMAN FREE ZONE)
- Almost always bilingual English + Arabic
India
- Top arc: company name (e.g., ACME TRADING PRIVATE LIMITED)
- Centre: PVT LTD or P. LTD
- Bottom arc: CIN (21-character code, e.g., U72200KA2020PTC123456)
- Border: usually double-ring for formal use
Singapore
- Top arc: company name (e.g., ACME TRADING PTE LTD)
- Centre: PTE LTD
- Bottom arc: UEN (e.g., UEN 202012345A)
Malaysia
- Top arc: company name (e.g., ACME TRADING SDN BHD)
- Centre: SDN BHD
- Bottom arc: SSM registration number
General Europe (GmbH, SARL, S.A., others)
- Top arc: company name with entity type included
- Centre: entity type abbreviation or city of registration
- Bottom arc: local registry number with country-specific prefix
- Conventions vary by country — check your registry's documentation
If you're unsure which convention applies, start with the closest template, then check a recent example of an official document from a company in your jurisdiction — banks and registries usually use a standard format.
Bilingual company seals (English + Arabic)
If you're registering a company in the UAE, the wider GCC, or anywhere in MENA, your seal probably needs to be bilingual. The standard layout:
- One arc (usually the top) carries the company name in English.
- The other arc (usually the bottom) carries the same name in Arabic.
- Or — the registration/trade licence number sits on the bottom arc in English and the city in Arabic, depending on the convention.
The editor supports Arabic and other right-to-left scripts natively. You type the Arabic text and the curved-text engine handles the directionality. Both languages can be used in the same seal without alignment issues.
Transparent PNG for documents (the most common use)
The PNG export has a fully transparent background by default. That means the company seal drops cleanly onto:
- Bank account-opening forms (PDFs)
- Trade-licence applications
- Client invoices (use the Invoice Maker — there's a dedicated stamp field)
- Contracts and agreements
- Official correspondence (letters, memos, formal emails)
- Government paperwork
No white box around the seal. No tracing artefacts. Just the seal itself.
For digital documents this is what you want 95% of the time. PDF and SVG exports exist for specific cases (PDF documents that require PDF imports; SVG for physical rubber stamp production).
Ordering a physical rubber stamp from your design
If you also need a physical company seal — to use on paper documents that get signed in person — every design here works for physical production.
The workflow:
- Design the seal here and customise it with your details.
- Export as SVG. (Don't use PNG — it's pixel-based and won't scale cleanly for physical production.)
- Send the SVG to a rubber-stamp manufacturer or local print shop.
- Specify the size in millimetres. Standard business seal sizes: 38–45 mm diameter.
The same design works for both digital and physical use, so you only design it once.
ToolBody doesn't sell physical stamps — we're a design tool. But the SVG file is print-shop ready, so any rubber-stamp manufacturer can produce it.
How to use a company seal template
Step 1 — Pick the template that matches your jurisdiction
Click the closest match from the gallery. UK companies pick a UK template; UAE companies pick a UAE template; etc. If your jurisdiction isn't represented, pick the generic template — it's layout-flexible.
Step 2 — Add your legal details
Type your legal company name on the top arc. Add your registration or trade licence number on the bottom arc. Put your entity type in the centre. If bilingual, repeat the name in the second language on the corresponding arc.
Step 3 — Adjust the design (optional)
Switch between single-ring and double-ring borders, change fonts, swap colours. Most company seals use black or dark blue ink; some use red.
Step 4 — Download
Pick a format: PNG for documents, SVG for physical rubber stamps, PDF for PDF imports. The download has no watermark, no sign-up, no payment, no daily limit.
Honest note on legal validity
Different countries have different rules about what counts as an "official" company seal. In some jurisdictions (like the UK), the formal "common seal" is largely historical and most companies operate without one. In others (much of the Gulf, parts of Asia, India), an active company seal is expected on most official documents. In yet others (parts of Continental Europe), seal use is highly regulated.
ToolBody designs the seal image. Whether your jurisdiction recognises an image-based seal vs an embossed physical seal vs a digitally signed certificate is a question for your local company-formation rules or a lawyer. Don't take the existence of a seal-shaped file as legal authority. We make the design — what you do with it is yours.
Why ToolBody beats the alternatives
The competing tools for "company stamp maker online" are surprisingly weak:
- A single-page exact-match micro-site that focuses on one country's conventions and runs out of guidance for anyone outside it.
- A small tool with bilingual support but minimal documentation on what each field should contain.
- Generic design tools that can technically make a round shape with curved text but have no concept of company-seal conventions, registration numbers, or entity types.
The differentiators here:
- Multi-region templates for at least seven jurisdictions, not just one.
- Genuine bilingual support, including Arabic for the GCC market.
- Convention guidance for each region (above), not just "type your text and good luck".
- Truly free — no watermark, no daily limit, no sign-up.
Works with the rest of ToolBody
- Add the company seal to invoices. Design the seal here, download as PNG, upload into the stamp field of the Invoice Maker. Every invoice carries the seal automatically.
- Add the seal to PDF documents. Use any PDF editor's "Insert Image" option with the PNG. The transparent background means clean placement.
- Pair with a signature for signed-and-sealed documents. The Signature Maker generates transparent-PNG signatures — use both on the same document.
- Need a different stamp shape or use case? Browse other categories from the Templates Hub — round stamps (general), office workflow stamps, school stamps, date stamps.
- Start from blank? Open the Stamp Maker directly with no template.

Template FAQs
Yes. Every company seal template is free to use, customise, and download. There's no premium tier, no watermark, and no per-download fee.
Yes. The standard company seal layout places the registration number on the bottom arc of the round seal. Trade licence numbers, CIN, UEN, and similar identifiers all use this same position.
Any entity type can be added to the centre of the seal — LLC, Inc, Corp (US); LTD, PLC (UK); PVT LTD, LLP (India); FZE, FZ-LLC, FZ-CO (UAE free zones); Pte Ltd (Singapore); Sdn Bhd (Malaysia); GmbH (Germany); SARL (France); and others. The templates are flexible — you type the entity type in the centre.
ToolBody designs the seal image. Whether your jurisdiction recognises an image-based seal as legally valid varies by country and by document type. In many jurisdictions, image seals are widely accepted on routine business documents; in others, an embossed physical seal is preferred for certain official documents. This is a design tool, not a legal certification — check your local company-formation rules or ask a lawyer if you're unsure.
Yes. Download the design as SVG and send it to a rubber-stamp manufacturer with your size specification in millimetres. The vector format scales without losing quality, so the printed stamp matches your digital design exactly.
Yes. The editor supports Arabic and other right-to-left scripts. You can create a bilingual seal with English on one arc and Arabic on the other, or a single-language Arabic seal. This is particularly useful for companies in the UAE, GCC, and wider MENA region.
No. Every download is completely clean. No ToolBody branding, no overlay, no preview text. The file is your seal only.
