About

The story

LeadKit started as a weekend script to help a friend find dental clinics for a cold-email campaign. Apollo wanted $99/mo. ZoomInfo wanted $15k/year. Neither made sense for a side project - so we built our own.

It worked. Friends asked for it. Then strangers. So we rebuilt it as a free online tool - one web form, your browser, an Excel file out.

Why keep it free?

The data is already public, and the right tools to surface it should not cost $200/mo. Our infrastructure is cheap; charging would mean inventing artificial limits, and that is not the kind of company we want to be.

Who is behind this?

A small group of makers tired of the SaaS lock-in pattern in B2B tooling. The docs explain how the tool works - no signup needed to read.
