This page covers the cross-cutting stuff — what ToolBody is, how the free model works, browser support, account questions, data and privacy, multi-tool workflows, and where to get help. About ToolBody
What is ToolBody?
ToolBody is a small set of free browser-based tools for creating business document elements — stamps, invoices, and signatures. Everything runs in your browser, requires no account, and downloads with no watermark.
Is ToolBody really free?
Yes — completely. There is no premium tier, no subscription, no trial period, no payment details requested at any point. Every tool is free to use, every download is free, and there are no usage caps.
How does ToolBody pay for itself if everything is free?
ToolBody is supported by display advertising delivered through Google AdSense. The ads aren't personalised based on what you create in the tools — your designs and invoice content never leave your browser, so they're not used for ad targeting. We don't accept sponsored placements, paid reviews, or affiliate arrangements.
Who runs ToolBody?
ToolBody is built and operated independently. The About page has more detail on who we are and why the site exists. The same person who writes the code answers the support emails.
Accounts and sign-up
Do I need to create an account?
No. There is no registration, no email confirmation, and no password. All tools work immediately when you open them. We don't collect any account information because we don't have an account system.
How can the site save my work without an account?
Your work-in-progress is stored in your own browser, not on our servers. If you close the tab and come back on the same device and browser, your draft is still there. If you switch to a different device or clear your browser data, the draft is gone — there's no cloud sync.
Data, privacy, and safety
What happens to the stamps, invoices, and signatures I create?
They are processed entirely in your browser and don't reach our servers. The file you download lives only on your device. We don't store your designs, can't see them, and couldn't share them if asked. When you close the tab, anything you didn't download is gone from our side.
Do you sell my data?
No. We don't have a data-sales business, and we don't collect the kind of personal data that would be saleable. The data we do receive (server logs, anonymous analytics, email if you contact us) is used only to operate the site and respond to you. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my data from ToolBody?
There isn't much to delete because we don't store much. Your stamp designs, invoice content, and signature work were never uploaded to our servers in the first place — they live only in your browser, and you can clear them by clearing browser data. For email messages you've sent us, email us via Contact and we'll delete the correspondence from our records. Full details on data and rights are in our Privacy Policy.
Is ToolBody safe to use for my business?
Yes. The site uses HTTPS encryption across every page. The tools process designs locally in your browser, so sensitive details (client names, business amounts, signatures) never leave your device. We don't sell, share, or trade user data. As with any free online tool, you should keep your highest-stakes documents in line with your own organisation's security policies, but for general business document creation ToolBody is built around privacy by design.
Browser and device support
Which browsers does ToolBody support?
All current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and Brave on desktop and mobile. The tools also work in less common browsers like Opera, Vivaldi, and Arc. We don't support Internet Explorer (it was discontinued by Microsoft) or very old browser versions.
Does ToolBody work on phones and tablets?
Yes. All tools are optimised for mobile and tablet browsers. The Signature Maker is particularly nice on touchscreens because you can sign with your finger. The Invoice Maker works fully on mobile too, though the larger screen makes it easier to manage long line-item lists.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Everything runs in your web browser. There's no app to download, no plugin to install, no software updates to manage. If your browser can open the website, you can use the tools.
Multi-tool workflows
Can I use multiple ToolBody tools together?
Yes — that's intentional design. The most common combined workflow: create a stamp in the Stamp Maker, create a signature in the Signature Maker, then use both inside the Invoice Maker (which has built-in fields for uploading a signature and a stamp). The whole signed-and-stamped invoice workflow takes about three minutes total.

Downloads and file formats
Are downloaded files watermarked or branded?
No. Every file you download is completely clean — no ToolBody branding, no preview overlay, no promotional text. The PNG, SVG, or PDF is yours and yours only.
What file formats can I download?
Stamps export as transparent PNG, SVG, or PDF. Signatures export as transparent PNG. Invoices export as PDF. The format you should pick depends on use — see the individual tool pages for guidance on which format works best for which document type.
Can I use ToolBody designs commercially?
Yes. You own the stamps, invoices, and signatures you create. Use them on commercial documents, business invoices, branded packaging, certificates, anything. There's no licence to buy. The templates are starting points; what you make from them is yours.
Can I use ToolBody outputs for physical rubber stamps?
Yes — for stamps specifically. Download your stamp design as SVG and send it to a rubber-stamp manufacturer or local print shop along with your size in millimetres. The vector file scales without quality loss, so the physical stamp matches your digital design exactly. ToolBody doesn't sell physical stamps — we provide the design file only.
Why is my download blank, broken, or not working?
The most common causes: an ad-blocker or privacy extension blocking the download script (try whitelisting toolbody.cloud), a very old browser version (update to the latest), or a network firewall (try a different connection). If none of those, send us the browser and device details via the Contact page and we'll look into it.
Why is the page slow or unresponsive?
Tool pages run a fair amount of code in your browser to handle the editor and live preview. On older devices or slow connections, you may notice a brief loading period. Closing other heavy tabs usually helps. If the tool is unusably slow on a current-generation device, please report it via Contact.
Legal use of outputs
Can ToolBody outputs be used as legally binding signatures or seals?
ToolBody produces images — PNG and SVG files. Whether an image signature or seal is legally accepted depends on the document type, your jurisdiction, and what the parties involved have agreed to. For everyday business paperwork (informal invoices, internal documents, routine letters), image signatures and seals are widely accepted. For high-stakes legal contracts or notarised documents, use a regulated e-signature platform or a registered notary. ToolBody is a design tool, not a legal certification service.
Future of ToolBody
What other tools is ToolBody adding?
More small focused tools that solve document jobs for small businesses, freelancers, schools, and offices. We don't pre-announce specific tools to avoid setting expectations we can't meet on a deadline. If you have a tool in mind, the Contact page reaches us and we read every suggestion.
Will the free tools ever become paid?
The existing tools — Stamp Maker, Invoice Maker, Signature Maker, and all current templates — will stay free indefinitely. If we ever add optional premium features (e.g., bulk processing, team collaboration, advanced exports), they would be separate paid additions, not paywalls placed in front of features that are currently free. The promise: anything that works free today will keep working free tomorrow.
Support and contact
How do I report a bug or request a new feature?
Send an email through our Contact page. For bug reports, please put "BUG" in the subject line — those get prioritised. Include the browser and device you're using and a quick description of what happened versus what you expected.
Why didn't I get a reply to my message?
We read and reply to every genuine message, usually within a few business days. If you haven't heard back: check your spam folder first (sometimes replies land there), and if still nothing after a week, send a polite follow-up — occasionally messages do get missed and a nudge is appreciated. We don't reply to bulk marketing pitches, SEO outreach, or guest-post requests, so if your message fit one of those categories that's likely why.
