About ToolBody
What is ToolBody?
ToolBody is a set of six free, browser-based tools for everyday business documents: a stamp maker, invoice maker, quotation maker, payslip generator, signature maker and QR code generator. Each one runs in your browser, needs no account, and downloads a clean file with no watermark.
Is ToolBody really free?
Yes, completely. There's no premium tier, no subscription, no trial period and no payment details requested at any point. Every tool, every feature and every download is free, with no usage caps. Make one stamp this week or fifty payslips next month — same experience, same zero cost.
How does ToolBody pay for itself?
Through display advertising served by Google AdSense. The ads aren't personalised using anything you create in the tools — your designs, invoice details and salary figures never leave your browser, so they can't be used for ad targeting. We don't take sponsored placements, paid reviews or affiliate deals.
Who runs ToolBody?
ToolBody is built and run independently by a small team. The About page explains who we are and why the site exists. The people who write the code are the same people who answer the support emails.
Accounts and sign-up
Do I need to create an account?
No. There's no registration, no email confirmation and no password. Open a tool and start working. We don't collect account information because there is no account system.
How does the site save my work without an account?
Your draft is stored in your own browser, not on our servers. Close the tab and come back on the same device and browser, and it's still there. Switch devices or clear your browser data and it's gone — there's no cloud sync, because there's no account to sync to.
Data, privacy and safety
What happens to the documents I create?
Stamps, signatures and QR codes are made entirely in your browser and never reach us. Invoices, quotations and payslips are built in your browser too; when you export a PDF, the document is sent to our renderer to produce the file, held for a few minutes and then deleted. Nothing is stored, nothing is read, and nothing is kept after you download. Anything you didn't download is gone from our side the moment you close the tab.
Do you sell my data?
No. We don't have a data business and we don't collect the kind of personal data that would be worth selling. What we do receive — server logs, anonymous analytics, and your email if you write to us — is used only to run the site and reply to you. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my data from ToolBody?
There's very little to delete. Your designs and document content were never uploaded, so clearing your browser data removes them. If you've emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, say so through the Contact page and we'll remove it from our records. Your rights and the full details are in the Privacy Policy.
Is ToolBody safe to use for my business?
Yes. Every page uses HTTPS. The tools work locally in your browser, so client names, amounts, salaries and signatures stay on your device. We don't sell, share or trade user data. As with any online tool, treat your highest-stakes documents according to your own organisation's security policy — but for everyday business paperwork, ToolBody is built with privacy as the default.
Browsers and devices
Which browsers does ToolBody support?
Current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and Brave on desktop and mobile, as well as Opera, Vivaldi and Arc. Internet Explorer and very old browser versions aren't supported.
Does ToolBody work on phones and tablets?
Yes. All six tools are designed for small screens first. The Signature Maker is particularly good on a touchscreen because you can sign with your finger, and the Stamp Maker and QR Code Generator work comfortably on a phone. The Invoice, Quotation and Payslip tools work fully on mobile too, though a larger screen makes long line-item lists easier to manage.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Everything runs in your web browser. There's no app, no plugin and no updates to manage. If your browser can open the site, you can use the tools.
Using the tools together
Can I combine ToolBody tools?
Yes — they're designed to feed into each other. The most common workflow: design a PAID or APPROVED stamp in the Stamp Maker, create your signature in the Signature Maker, then drop both onto an invoice in the Invoice Maker, which has dedicated fields for them. Quote the job first in the Quotation Maker and the same line items carry through to the invoice. Add a payment link as a QR code from the QR Code Generator and the client can pay from their phone. The Payslip Generator takes the same stamp and signature for month-end pay. How it works walks through the full sequence.
Downloads and file formats
Are downloaded files watermarked or branded?
No. Every file is exactly what you saw in the preview — no ToolBody footer, no logo, no promotional text. The PNG, SVG or PDF is yours alone.
What file formats can I download?
Stamps export as transparent PNG, SVG or PDF. Signatures export as transparent PNG. QR codes export as PNG, SVG or PDF. Invoices, quotations and payslips export as PDF. Each tool page explains which format suits which job.
Can I use what I make commercially?
Yes. You own everything you create — stamps, invoices, quotations, payslips, signatures and QR codes. Use them on client documents, packaging, certificates, menus, anything. There's no licence to buy. Templates are starting points; what you make from them is yours.
Can I get a physical rubber stamp made from my design?
Yes. Download your stamp as SVG and send it to a stamp manufacturer or print shop with the size in millimetres. Vector files scale without losing quality, so the physical stamp matches the digital design exactly. ToolBody supplies the design file only; we don't sell physical stamps.
Do QR codes made here expire?
No. The destination is written into the code itself rather than routed through our servers, so there's nothing to expire, no scan limit and no tracking. Once you've downloaded the image it works for as long as the link or content it points to exists.
Why is my download blank, broken or not working?
Usually one of three things: an ad-blocker or privacy extension blocking the download script (try allowing toolbody.cloud), an out-of-date browser (update it), or a network firewall (try another connection). If none of those help, send your browser and device details through the Contact page and we'll look into it.
Why is a tool slow or unresponsive?
The editors run a fair amount of code for the live preview. On older devices or slow connections there may be a brief loading pause; closing other heavy tabs usually helps. If a tool is unusably slow on a current device, please report it through Contact.
Legal use
Are ToolBody signatures and stamps legally binding?
ToolBody produces images — PNG and SVG files. Whether an image signature or seal is legally accepted depends on the document, your jurisdiction and what the parties have agreed. For everyday business paperwork — invoices, quotations, internal approvals, routine letters — image signatures and stamps are widely accepted. For high-stakes contracts or notarised documents, use a regulated e-signature platform or a notary. ToolBody is a design tool, not a legal certification service.
Is a ToolBody payslip a legal payroll document?
The Payslip Generator produces the document; it doesn't calculate statutory deductions or file anything with a tax authority. It's suited to small teams and households that need a clear written record of pay. If you need payroll that computes tax and pension contributions and files returns, use a payroll provider.
The future of ToolBody
What tools are you adding next?
More small, focused tools for the document jobs small businesses, freelancers, schools and offices actually face. We don't pre-announce specific tools so we're not held to deadlines we can't keep. If you want something we don't have, tell us through the Contact page — several current tools exist because someone asked.
Will the free tools ever become paid?
All six tools and every current template stay free indefinitely. If we ever add optional extras — bulk processing, team features, advanced exports — they'd be separate additions, never paywalls in front of what's free today. Anything that works free now keeps working free.
Support and contact
How do I report a bug or request a feature?
Email us through the Contact page. For bugs, put "BUG" in the subject line so it's prioritised, and include your browser, device, which tool you were using, and what happened versus what you expected. A screenshot helps.
Why haven't I had a reply?
We answer every genuine message, usually within two to three business days. Check your spam folder first — replies sometimes land there. If there's still nothing after a week, send a polite follow-up; messages do occasionally slip through. We don't reply to bulk marketing, SEO outreach or templated guest-post requests, so if your message was one of those, that's why.
