The blog covers the workflow part: how to use those outputs once you have them, what professional document conventions look like, and how to navigate the small administrative decisions that come with running a small business or working independently.

Editorial principles

This is the short version of how the blog is written, because the tone matters more than any individual post:

  • Honest first. If a competitor is better at something, we say so. If a feature on ToolBody isn't shipped yet, we don't pretend it is. Posts are written by people who actually use the tools.

  • Practical over comprehensive. A 600-word post that solves someone's actual problem is more valuable than a 3,000-word "ultimate guide" full of filler. We aim for the former.

  • No SEO bait. We don't write posts because a keyword tool flagged search volume. We write because someone trying to do their job would benefit. The SEO follows from useful content, not the reverse.

  • No fake authority. No "we are a team of 50 experts" claims. ToolBody is a small operation, and the blog tone matches that.

  • Update old posts when reality changes. If a screenshot becomes outdated, a tool changes its UI, or a regulation updates — we update the post. We don't hide the change history; if something material has changed, the post says so at the top.

Suggesting a topic

If you've hit a document-related problem and can't find a clear answer anywhere — Google included — that's exactly the kind of thing this blog should address. The Contact page reaches us with topic suggestions. We read all of them. We can't write everything, but useful suggestions shape what we publish.
