Terms of Service
Effective Date: 13 June 2026 Last Updated: 13 June 2026
Quick summary
Before the legal language, here's what this document says in plain English:
- ToolBody offers free browser-based tools for making stamps, invoices, and signatures. By using the site, you agree to these terms.
- You keep ownership of any stamp, invoice, or signature you design. We don't claim any rights over your creations.
- The tools are provided "as is" — useful and reliable in our intended use, but without warranties. Use them at your own risk.
- Don't use ToolBody to do illegal or harmful things. Specifics are below, but examples: forging government seals, creating fake invoices for fraud, impersonating real people.
- We can change or stop the service. We'll try to give notice when reasonable.
- Disputes are handled under the laws of United Arab Emirates in the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates.
The full terms follow.
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legal agreement between you and ToolBody ("ToolBody", "we", "us", or "our") regarding your use of the website at https://toolbody.cloud and the tools provided on it (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
If you're using the Service on behalf of a business or organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. What the Service is
ToolBody is a collection of free, browser-based tools for creating business document elements. As of the most recent update, this includes:
- A stamp maker for designing stamps, seals, and approval marks
- An invoice maker for creating invoices and exporting them as PDFs
- A signature maker for creating digital signature images
- A library of templates that can be customised in those tools
We may add, modify, or remove tools and features at any time. We aren't obligated to keep any specific feature available indefinitely, though we'll generally try to give reasonable notice of significant changes.
The Service is provided free of charge. We don't take payment for using any tool or downloading any output.
3. What the Service is NOT
To set expectations clearly:
- Not a legal e-signature platform. Signature images created on ToolBody are not certified digital signatures and don't carry cryptographic authentication. Their legal validity depends on jurisdiction, document type, and the parties' agreement. For high-stakes legal contracts, use a regulated e-signature provider.
- Not an accounting or tax service. The invoice maker generates invoice PDFs. It doesn't track payments, calculate taxes owed, prepare tax returns, or give tax advice. For accounting and tax matters, consult a qualified professional.
- Not legal advice. Nothing on ToolBody — in the tools, the templates, the FAQs, the blog, or anywhere else — is legal advice. We provide design tools and general guidance; specific legal questions need a lawyer.
- Not a notary or official authority. ToolBody does not certify, notarise, witness, or otherwise authenticate any document. Notary seals are state-issued regulated items, and ToolBody is not appropriate for creating notary seals or any other officially authorised seals.
- Not a print-shop. ToolBody designs digital files. Physical rubber stamps must be produced separately by a rubber-stamp manufacturer using the SVG file you download.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you're between 16 and 18, you should use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
If you're in a jurisdiction where the minimum age for online services is higher than 16, you must meet that age.
5. Accounts
ToolBody does not require you to create an account to use any of its tools. We don't collect a username or password, and you don't need to sign up.
If we ever introduce optional account-based features (e.g., for paid premium features), these Terms will be updated to address how accounts work.
6. Your designs and outputs (ownership)
This section is one of the most important — read it carefully.
- You own what you create. Any stamp, invoice, signature, or other output you design and download from ToolBody belongs to you. We claim no ownership, copyright, or other rights in your designs.
- You are responsible for what you create. If your design infringes someone else's trademark, copyright, or other rights, that's your responsibility, not ours. We provide a design tool — we don't review what users create.
- We don't store your designs. As described in the Privacy Policy, your designs are processed in your browser and aren't saved to our servers. When you download the file, it lives only on your device.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service in ways that are illegal, harmful, or that misuse the tools. Specifically — and this is not an exhaustive list — you will not use ToolBody to:
- Forge government, notary, or official seals. Notary seals, court seals, government-agency seals, and similar marks are regulated. Creating fraudulent versions of these is a crime in most jurisdictions and is strictly prohibited here.
- Create fraudulent documents. Fake invoices to defraud someone, fake company seals representing companies you don't own or control, fake signatures of other people — all prohibited.
- Impersonate real individuals or businesses. Don't create stamps, signatures, or invoices that misrepresent someone else.
- Commit, plan, or facilitate any other crime using outputs from the Service.
- Use the Service in ways that violate any applicable law, including export controls, sanctions, intellectual property, privacy, or consumer protection laws.
- Interfere with the Service's operation. This includes denial-of-service attacks, attempts to bypass rate limits, automated scraping that hammers the servers, attempts to reverse-engineer security measures, and similar.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without prior written permission.
- Upload or transmit malicious code to or through the Service.
- Misrepresent the Service. For example, claiming ToolBody is "certified" by any organisation when it isn't, or selling access to ToolBody's free tools as if they were a paid product.
Violations of this section may result in termination of your access to the Service, and in serious cases, referral to law enforcement.
8. Intellectual property in the Service
The Service itself — including the website, the tool interfaces, the original template designs we provide, our brand, our logo, and our documentation — is owned by ToolBody and protected by intellectual property laws.
You may use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not:
- Copy or redistribute the website, the source code, or the tools themselves (as opposed to outputs you create with them).
- Use our brand, logo, or name to suggest endorsement or affiliation that doesn't exist.
- Sell, license, or sublicense the Service to others.
- Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.
Outputs you create using the tools are yours (see Section 6). The tools and templates that produce those outputs remain ours.
9. Third-party content and links
The Service may include links to third-party websites, services, or resources (for example, our advertising partners' content, or links to PDF editor recommendations). We don't control those third parties and aren't responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices. Use them at your own discretion.
Advertising shown on the Service is delivered by third-party ad networks (notably Google AdSense). The presence of any ad does not constitute an endorsement.
10. Disclaimers of warranty
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, [BUSINESS NAME] DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.
We don't warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
- The outputs of the tools will meet your specific requirements or be suitable for any particular legal, commercial, or regulatory purpose.
- Defects in the Service will be corrected.
- The Service or the servers that host it are free of viruses or other harmful components.
Use of the Service is at your sole risk.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL [BUSINESS NAME], ITS OPERATORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING (BUT NOT LIMITED TO) LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES — ARISING FROM:
- Your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
- The outputs you create with the Service, including the use of any stamp, invoice, signature, or other design.
- Any third-party content accessed through the Service.
- Unauthorised access to or alteration of your transmissions or data.
- Any other matter relating to the Service.
This applies whether the alleged liability is based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, and whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such damage.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total cumulative liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months prior to the claim — which, given that the Service is free, will typically be zero.
Some jurisdictions don't allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or damages. In those jurisdictions, the above exclusions and limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ToolBody, its operators, and any affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:
- Your use of the Service.
- The outputs you create with the Service and their use in the world.
- Your violation of these Terms.
- Your violation of any rights of a third party.
- Your violation of applicable law.
We reserve the right to assume exclusive defence and control of any matter for which you are required to indemnify us, in which case you agree to cooperate with our defence.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to all or part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason — including breach of these Terms.
You may stop using the Service at any time. Since there are no accounts, no cancellation is needed.
Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution) will survive.
14. Changes to the Service
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We aren't liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance.
For material changes that significantly affect users (such as removing a major tool), we'll try to provide reasonable advance notice on the site.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
For material changes, we'll provide more prominent notice — a banner on the site, or where reasonable, individual notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Service are governed by the laws of United Arab Emirates, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising under or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates, and you submit to the jurisdiction of those courts.
If you live in a jurisdiction where local consumer-protection laws give you the right to bring action in your home courts despite the above, those rights are not affected by this clause.
17. General provisions
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service, and supersede any prior agreements on the same subject.
- Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that right.
- Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.
- No agency. Nothing in these Terms creates an agency, partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship.
- Headings. Section headings are for convenience only and have no legal effect.
