Disclaimer

Effective Date: 13 June 2026 Last Updated: 13 June 2026

1. About this disclaimer

This page sets out general disclaimers relating to your use of the website at https://toolbody.cloud ("ToolBody", "we", "us", "our") and the free browser-based tools provided on it.

This disclaimer supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. The Terms of Service is the binding contract between you and us; this disclaimer reinforces specific points and helps clarify the limits of what ToolBody is and isn't responsible for.

If anything in this disclaimer appears to contradict the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service prevails as the binding document.

2. No professional advice

ToolBody is a graphic design service for creating document elements. Nothing on ToolBody — in the tools themselves, the templates, the FAQs, the blog, the help text, or any other content — constitutes:

  • Legal advice — for legal questions specific to your situation, consult a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction
  • Tax or accounting advice — for tax matters, consult a qualified accountant or tax professional
  • Medical or healthcare advice — for medical decisions, consult licensed healthcare professionals
  • Notarisation or legal certification — ToolBody does not certify or notarise documents
  • Regulated e-signature services — for legally binding digital signatures on high-stakes documents, use a regulated e-signature platform that complies with your jurisdiction's electronic signature laws (eIDAS in the EU/UK, ESIGN Act in the US, equivalent regulations elsewhere)

If your need requires professional advice, certification, or regulated services, ToolBody is not a substitute for those.

3. Accuracy of information

We work to keep the information on ToolBody accurate and up to date. However:

  • We don't warrant that all content is error-free, current, or complete at any given moment.
  • Templates, examples, and guidance are starting points — your specific use case may require adjustments we haven't anticipated.
  • Conventions described in our content (for example, what fields an invoice should contain in different jurisdictions, or what colour conventions apply to office stamps) are general guidance. Verify against your local regulations or industry standards before using outputs in formal contexts.
  • The blog and help content may become outdated as software, regulations, and conventions change. Where possible, we update older content; we don't guarantee every page reflects the current state.

If you find information on ToolBody that's clearly wrong or outdated, please let us know via the Contact page — we read every message and update when needed.

4. Use of outputs is your responsibility

You're solely responsible for how you use any output created with ToolBody's tools. This includes (but isn't limited to):

  • Ensuring your designs don't infringe anyone's trademark, copyright, or other rights
  • Ensuring you have the right to display or use any logos, names, or symbols you include
  • Ensuring the output is appropriate for its intended use (e.g., that an invoice you create contains the fields legally required in your jurisdiction)
  • Ensuring you don't use ToolBody outputs in ways prohibited by our Terms of Service (forgery, fraud, impersonation, etc.)

ToolBody provides the design tool; you're responsible for what you do with what you make.

5. External links

ToolBody may include links to external websites, services, or resources — for example:

  • Links to PDF editor recommendations in our blog
  • Links to rubber-stamp manufacturers in our template guides
  • Links to regulated e-signature platforms when discussing legal limitations of image signatures
  • Links to advertising partners' content (via Google AdSense)

We don't control these external sites. We're not responsible for their content, accuracy, privacy practices, or any consequences of using them. Linking to a site doesn't constitute an endorsement.

Use external links at your own discretion.

6. Advertising

ToolBody is supported by display advertising delivered through Google AdSense. By using the site, you accept that advertising may be shown on most pages.

We do not control the specific ads served — Google's systems select them based on context and (where you've consented) your browsing patterns. The presence of an ad on ToolBody does not constitute an endorsement of the advertiser, product, or service.

For details on how advertising cookies work and how to control them, see our Cookie Policy.

7. Availability of the service

We aim to keep ToolBody available continuously, but:

  • We don't guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or always-available access
  • The service may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control (host outages, network issues, etc.)
  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue tools and features at any time, as set out in our Terms of Service

If you're relying on ToolBody for a time-critical task, we recommend completing and downloading your work as soon as it's ready, rather than relying on the in-browser draft persistence.

8. No warranties

ToolBody is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, including (but not limited to) implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Use of the service is at your own risk. The fuller warranty disclaimer is in Section 10 of our Terms of Service.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ToolBody will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of ToolBody — including (but not limited to) damages arising from the use of outputs you create with the tools.

The full limitation of liability clause is in Section 11 of our Terms of Service.

10. Changes to this disclaimer

We may update this disclaimer from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated more prominently (such as a banner on the site).

Your continued use of ToolBody after changes take effect indicates acceptance of the updated disclaimer.
